Philip Potter 

For the last twenty years, Phil has specialised in the streamlining of Asset Management, Environmental, OHS, Food Safety and Quality Management systems. Benchmarking in business best practice, OHS and business risk management.

Commencing his career as a trainee chemist in the steel industry, he has maintained a diverse range of roles that have included: Production Manager in the Food Industry, Director of an NFP supporting the disadvantaged, and Food Safety training in Venezuela and Argentina.

He has worked both in Australia & internationally with over 500 organizations assisting them to achieve certification to the relevant:

  • asset management (ISO 55001)

  • environmental (ISO 14001)

  • safety (ISO 45001),

  • food safety requirements (ISO 22001), and/or

  • international quality standards (ISO 9001),

providing both training and consulting services.

 

It should be noted that all clients obtained certification upon their first attempt.

He also provides clients with integrated management systems.

Casandra Peisley

Casandra has real world systems experience.

During her career, Casandra has worked in corporate finance, infrastructure and construction and with environmental management and warehouse/logistics companies.

Her experience in asset management, quality, safety and environmental management began four years ago, working with clients in the roads and transport industry. Her expertise in document & records management, improvements & corrective action systems and the auditing and review process were invaluable in that client achieving certification and maintaining certification over several annual audits to ISO 9001, AS 4801 and ISO 14001.

In the last year Casandra has been diversifying her knowledge in quality, safety and environmental management by working in the waste, manufacturing and construction industries.

She has commenced work with the PKP team and has assisted over 50 companies to achieve certification.

Casandra is enjoying assisting clients by implementing compliance software whilst streamlining their systems including improving efficiencies and outcomes.

Casandra is in the process of completing her Business degree majoring in Management at Western Sydney University. And is planning to complete postgraduate courses in Safety and the Environment.

Danielle Ward

Danielle Ward is a Safety, Quality, Environmental & Business Improvement specialist. In her career prior to joining the PKP team she has worked with several organizations to improve their operational systems and to improve their compliance systems.

Her most recent project was with a large infrastructure company implementing the Mango compliance software to achieve certification to the new version of standards of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

This implementation was undertaken in under 2 months and is now ongoing with PKP assisting the client with a quarterly systems health check.

Her country background is ideally suited to the construction and allied services fields with her being at home in the office or out on site ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Danielle is currently studying for her advanced diploma in Safety and will soon complete her 5 day auditor course in Quality Management.

Lawrence Atkinson

Lawrence is a mentor and coach to a number of SME’s and has considerable experience as a Director/General Manager/Management Consultant working with medium-sized professional services firms.

 

The first 27 years of Lawrence’s career were spent with the Bank of New South Wales/ Westpac Banking Corporation in various roles mostly related to business development and international trade. He has lived and worked in a number of locations around the world, such as the United Kingdom and Europe, the Middle East (Bahrain), Papua New Guinea, and Australia.

 

Upon leaving the banking industry in 2001 Lawrence moved into working with professional services firms in senior leadership roles. He is currently the Principal of Firstwater Business Solutions, a management consultancy specialising in assisting SMEs. Prior to establishing Firstwater, he was the GM of a medium-size firm of Accountants for many years with an earlier role as the Practice Director of a highly regarded commercial law firm.

 

Lawrence has also developed expertise in the Executive Search business having held senior roles with two major recruitment firms. He now runs his own boutique firm for a select number of clients.

Lawrence's background and expertise in marketing and business development, human resource management, finance, quality systems, and technology enable him to provide the necessary leadership support and guidance required to build and maintain an efficient and profitable business.

 

Lawrence has a broad range of skills and experiences which include: business development and sales; organisational development; operations management; business performance improvement; executive search; career coaching; change-facilitation; sales presentations / facilitation and training; and coaching & mentoring. He is a culturally aware individual and has a well-honed ability to work with diversity at all levels.

Lawrence is currently a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Accredited Professional of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association of Australia. He is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International.

 

Previous memberships include Fellow status with the Australian Institute of Management, the Australian Institute of Training and Development, the Financial Services Institute of Australia, and the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Manufactures, Commerce and Arts.
